About Tony Ratcliffe

Tony believes that a successful client relationship is built on trust and a genuine concern for the client. Perhaps due to his experience as an investigator, curiosity and an inquisitive nature allow him to discover and understand client goals. In his fourth year as an advisor, Tony builds on career experiences that benefit his clients and establish his credibility as an ethical and competent professional.

Tony has a strong academic background and a demonstrated dedication to lifelong learning. His academic credentials include Bachelor of Administration and Master of Distance Education degrees from Athabasca University and a Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Alberta. He has 30+ years of experience in law enforcement, investigations, and security management, including 9 years teaching in postsecondary education.

A proponent of professionalism and ethics, Tony is a member of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada. Membership includes a commitment to continuing professional development and adherence to a Code of Professional Conduct. Tony maintains his Certified Fraud Examiner designation and has served two past terms as President of the Edmonton Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Certified Administrative Managers.
